Reborn quilts

Reborn quilts record personal identity issues of the Hengrel.

Such quilts are begun when the Hengrel has made a decision to undergo cosmetic surgery. Often they record the period of transformation prior to the procedure to after the surgery has healed.

Hengrels find the stitch process therapeutic and during these periods of convalescence they often teach the younger members of the flock to stitch.
